Subway Stories – Runaway from Reason

May 9, 2010 By Andre Archimbaud

The more you talk
The less you seem to say.
The sooner you leave
The more you’ll want to stray.

Refuse to look underneath the hood.
No look is all good.
Runaway from reason.
Turn away from all that’s rational
Stroke yourself against illogical.
Poke yourself with the dullest stick.
Reason to runaway.
Runaway from reason.

Delude yourself from the anger you pose to your own life… The way your pain coerces your actions.
The lightness of being is unbearable. Do not bare it all. Do not believe yourself when your gut says run.

Slipping away from the life you were meant to lead. You were meant to be freed. You were meant to believe…

Runaway from reason. Runaway from treason…
Worse than abandoning your country, you abandoned yourself…
Left for dead by the side of the road.

Your pain coerces your actions…

sharing is caring!
