Subway Stories – Gravity’s My God

September 29, 2012 By Andre Archimbaud

Sweep the plains of dust & earth
And remove the life from the sun.
Echoes of yesterday ring in my ears.

Leaving what else was meant to be.
I can only believe in things I see.

Gravity’s my god.
Sunshine shines, water wet, earth is dirt.
Gravity is god.
All other logic’s flawed.

Listening to the heart of the wind that blows over the world.
Breaking glass & shatters sounds.

No money changes hands
Tells me what to say or who to hate.
No one says that he or she’s a lesser man.

If it can stand the weight…
It can fall away.

No stars. No crosses.
No colors. No boundaries.
No lies. No losses.
No god but gravity.

Gravity’s my god.
Air is love and love is light.
Gravity is god.
All other thought is flawed.

sharing is caring!
