Subway Stories – Invitation for Life

October 20, 2010 By Andre Archimbaud

Walking thru the walls of the world
Puts a mind and heart in tempest.
Selling and settling on your direction.
Believe life’s a life-long correction.

Come and find me
No longer deny me.
I want your invitation for life.
For which I’d give up my slice.

Hidden denials are the trials
Of the smiles and the ones
Who fly in the face
Of the sly and the wild.

Invite me to life.
To live the way of the sun.
Not the way of the gun.
Walk in the echoes
Stay away from the shadows.

Invite me to live.
All I know is how to give.
Time, effort, energy.
To give is to live.

Walking thru the walls of the world
Puts a mind and heart in tempest.
Selling and settling on your direction.
Believe life’s a life-long correction.
